List the important (and commonly cited) limitation of ecological studies, and explain how it may arise. How does this potentially affect your use of demographic information to describe accident rates?

Some times to study the diseases or incident rates on population ,ecological studies are carried out. On of them is the accident rates.This study focusess on determining the causes of the diseases. These studies descibe the characteristics of a group. Some times errors ocuurs in the interpretation of the data when considereing individual data aggregated inappropriately.This is due to the assumption that all the individuals in a group have the same characteristics, but it is not necessarily meant that they all share the common characteristics.

Limitations:

1. The measures are based only on the aggregate data. Care should be taken when applying the same principles to the individuals in a group.

2. Potential to differntiate the different incidents in different areas.

3. Lack of availabe data in the particluar incident study.
