Vitamins are nutrients required for our body, since it contains Carbon ,organic in nature.Our body cannot synthesize vitamins, so need to get from food and as supplements.There are 13 vitamins some are fat soluble(A,D,E,K-can stored in fat cells and need fat for absorption) and some are water soluble(B&C-cannot stored and excess is excreted as waste).

Vitamin A is necessary for vision especially for night vision , it forms rhodopsin, a protein helps in vision.Also required for maintaining healthy skin, skeletal muscles, bone, teeth,immune system.

Vitamin D is the sunshine vitamin as it produces naturally from sunshine.It absorbs calcium & phosphurus which is essntial for bone and teeth formation.

Vitamin E act as antioxident and destroys free radicals and protect cell from damage, ageing, cancer, heart disese etc.

Vitamin K is the koaguation vitamin and form blood clot thus prevent bleeding.Also play a key role in maintaining bone growth.

Vitamin C act as antioxident , maintains immune system and plays a major role in collagen protein formation which is essential for the repair od teeth, collagen, tendons, tissues etc.and promotes wound healing.Also absorbs iron.

Vitamin B is a complex- helps in converting carbohydrate in to energy, functioning of nerves, also maintains a healthy heart.Helps in RBC formation, regulates hormone activity, maintain immune system,DNA synthesisetc
