FastRed is a dye that is similar in size and function to FastGreen, but is colored RED. Assuming that they were at the same concentration, would you expect FastRed and FastGreen to have the same absorbance at 550nm? Why or why not?

at a wavelenth of 550 nm the absorbance of fast red and fast green would be different because a wavelenth of 550nm corresponds to green light,which means that at this wavelength the light of all colours(red,yellow,violet,blue) will be absorbed except green light,therefore the dye appears green to human eye.
