Answer- The renal pelvis is funnel like structure of the ureter in the kidney. The most important of renal pelvis is to perform as a funnel for urine flowing to the ureter. The renal pelvis is the site of many kinds of kidney cancer. If the flow of urine is resisted and then reaching the small tulies of kidney and renal pelvis, there will be swelling in kidney and there will be increament of pressure on the internal structure.
