is it ever better to operate as a sole proprietor as opposed to a corporation (assuming liability were not an issue)/

Solution

If liability were not an issue and one intends to carry on the business alone, than Sole Proprietor is better.

Reasons;

1. Minimum Legal Compliances as opposed to Corporation

2. Secrecy can be maintained to a great extent as leagal filing are less and stakeholders are less.

3. No internal dispute as there is a sole owner running the business.

4. Direct relation with customers, helps in further increasing the business, etc
