A = sqrt(s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

s = (a+b+c)/2 = (14+20 +32)/2 = 33

Area = sqrt( 33(33 -14)(33 -20)(33 -32))

= 90.28

= 90.3 sq unit

2) A = 13.9°, b = 5.9, c = 11.7

Area of triangle = (1/2)(b*c)sinA

=(1/2)(5.9*11.7)*sin13.9

= 8.29

= 8.3 squnit

3) d = 9.8, D = 53.1°, E = 17.9­°

F = 180 - D - E = 180 -53.1 - 17.9 = 109 deg

apply sine rule

d/sinD = e/sinE

e = 3.77

Area of triangle = (1/2)(d*e)sinF = (1/2)(9.8*3.77*sin109

= 17.46

= 17.5 squnits
