Solution

From the graph we can see that the x intercepts are (-1,0), (1,0) and (3,0) and has a y intercept at (0,3). Also graph has two turning points, hence degree of the function will be 3.

Equation of the graph is

y= (x+1) (x-1) (x-3)

=> y= (x^2 -1) (x-3)

=> y= x^3 -3x^2 -x+3
