A sample was selected by assigning nuses uniqe id numbers and then choosing hte numbers with the lowest 100 ID numbers. IS this an exmaple of simple random sample?

Solution

No it is not simple random sample. In the sample random each population value has equally likley chance to come into sample. In case, if all ID\'s assigned randomly then we can treat the sample as simple random sample.
