For this Problem I do not need you to show every calculation by hand. I understand that minitab is used for these types of problems quite frequently. However, if you could show the formula you used to obtain the data statistics (sum Squares, Mean Squares, etc etc) in the ANOVA table that would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Solution

The test hypothesis:

Ho: there is no significant interaction effect (i.e. null hypothesis)

Ha: there is a significant interaction effect (i.e. alternative hypothesis)

The test statistic is

F=1084.667/354.444

=3.06

The p-value of F test is 0.0843 which is greater than 0.05, we do not reject Ho.
So we can not conclude that there is a significant interaction effect
