This is two tailed pair t test.

In TI-83 calculator we need to enter data.

Hence Press STAT get cursor to L1 and press clrear then enter \' Friday the 6th\' numbers

Now get cursor on L2 and press clear and then enter \' Friday the 13th\' numbers.

Now get cursor at L3 and enter the formula L2 - L1 ( 2nd 2 makes L2 and 2nd 1 makes L1 ) and press enter.

Now press STAT > Tests > 2: T-TEST press enter

Then select DATA as input

Check that there must L3 for Lists. Select alternative hypothesis and press calculate. You will get

t value = 0.036
