How does the width of your confidence interval affect the precision of your estimation of the population mean u?
Solution
The wider is CI, the wider is the range of plausible values of population mean. When CI is wide, the margin of erro (half the legnth of CI) is also wide, which means that we could be off by that much margin of error on either direction of population mean. The smaller is CI, the more precise is our estimate (i.e, it is off by small margin of error from population mean)
