Be familiar with the basics of how cells create ATP for energy. This includes glycolysis, KREB\'s cycle, and TCA (Electron transport). You are not required to know every step in the pathway, but you need to be familiar with the basics. What is input and what is output for each stage. What are NAD+, NADH, FAD+, FADH2. How\'s it regulated?

Solution

for this question i suggest u should take a video whiteboard class on chegg i can always help u

just to summarise

Cells create ATP by flow of protons down the gradient across atpase ...for every 3 protons transferred an atp is produced

NADH AND FADH2 generate the same proton gradien through electron transport chain NADH creates more proton gradient hence its ultimate product is about 9 protons transferred which ultimately gives 3 ATP molecules (3 protons for each atp ...) FADH2 transfers about 6 protons ... hence it ultimtely yields just about 2 ATP molecules

For complete understanding it is a full fledged topic where in textbook is to be studied throughly ... feel free to comment where ever u face difficulity i will be glad to answer your questions
