A physician shall, in the provision of appropriate patient care, except in emergencies, be free to choose whom to serve, with whom to associate, and the environment in which to provide medical care.

Solution

No a physicial should not be free to chose whom to serve ,with whom to assoiciate and the environment to provide

the medical care because the main role of the physician is to treat the patient no matter from what background

he/she is as long the person is legally liable to receive treatment.If he works for a hospital it is his duty to serve all

the patients and not chose his patients selectively.He must work in the environment of the hospital he works for and

he has no right to demand anything extra other than the equipments provided by the hospital to him.

The main role is to provide the right treatment to the patient so that he can feel better as soon as possible with

proper medication irrespective of the background of the patients and without being selective.
