i will explain about the technology of CRM (customer relationship management) and its importance in service oriented business.

CRM is focused on collecting and saving the information of customers and use the information to their commercial purpose when ever they introduced a product or a service. the total information can be divides into different segments based on customer characteristics like age group, gender, education qualification, based on the location and so on. and when ever they launched a product or service they send information to this specific group.

a best example is, I am going to become a father soonly. few of the hospitals gots my family information and they re sending the services providing by the hospitals, the amount they are charging for those services, and how specially they cares abuot the mother and the birth child and so on.

and the same information will be saved in their database and in future they send information about child care treatments and the different speicilists and their charges.

the same information can be used by schools, and they will send information about the specility of their school and the different services offered by them.

all this is happeing because of a strategic CRM only. information is wealth, the one who uses the information correctly, they can create miracles in their business.
