Solution

let A be the first shop and B be the second shop

let the telephone bill for second shop be x

therefore telephone bill for first shop is 2x-660

the telephone bills of two shops are

2x-660+x=1593

3x=1593+660

3x=2193

x= 731 is the telephone bill for second shop

2x-660= 2x731-660= 862 is the telephone bill for first shop
