Solution

If the position is a sine function then the curve starts from origin for position time graph. And the velocity becomes a cosine function and the curve starts with some aplitude on velocity axis instead from the origin.

If the position is a cosine function then the curve starts with some amplitude on position curve and the velocity becomes a sine unction and the curve starts at the origin.

Both the curves are periodic with same time period.
