Multiply equation 1 with 2
16x1 + 12x2 - 8x3 = 4
12x2 = 4 - 16x1 + 8x3 ...................4
Multiply equation 2 with 3
6x1 + 12x2 = 36
12x2 = 36 - 6x1 .............................5
Equating the equations 4 and 5
4 - 16x1 + 8x3 = 36 - 6x1
4 - 36 = -6x1 + 16x1 - 8x3
10x1 - 8x3 = -32.............................6
Solve equations 3 and 6
Multiply equation 3 with 2
6x1 + 2x3 = 8
12x1 + 4x3 = 16
4x3 = 16 - 12x1......................................7
From equation 6
