Why should gauges be installed only after there is evidence

Solution

1. Any measuring guage cause some loss to the system. Hence, unnecessary gauges will cause unnecessay losses to the system.

2. Increase of cost of the system with no reason.

3. Too much redundant data will result in difficulty and cinfusion in analysys, operation and maintenance of the system.

4. There are chances that redundant gauges may be ignored for calibration and the same will later create confusion.

5. Inaccesible location of a guage will be of no use during the period of operation.
