In each one of Exercises 23-26 you are asked to find the area of the triangle ABC, based on the given information. (Do not solve the triangle!)
23. Ab = 35 , b = 13 cm, Cb = 45 . Round to nearest 0.001.
24. Ab = 44 , Bb = 55 , c = 10 cm. Round to nearest 0.001.
25. Ab = 83 , Bb = 65 , a = 15 cm. Round to nearest 0.001
26. a = 25 cm, Bb = 29 , Cb = 107 . Round to nearest 0.001.
Solution
23. angle B = 180 -35 -45 = 100 deg
So, Area = b^2sinA*sinC/2sinB = 13^2*sin45*sin35/sin100 = 69.600 cm^2
24. A = 44 dg . B = 55deg , c=10cm
C = 180 -44 -55 = 81
Area = c^2*sinA*sinB/2sinC = 10^2*sin44*sin55/2*sin81 = 28.806 cm^2
25. A = 83 deg B = 65 deg a = 15cm
C = 180 -83 -65 = 32 deg
Area = a^2*sinB*sinC/2*sinA = 15^2*sin65*sin32/2*sin83
= 54.436 cm^2
26. a= 25 B= 29deg C = 107 deg
A = 180 -29 -107 = 44 deg
Area = a^2*sinB*sinC/2*sinA
= 25^2*sin29*sin107/2*sin44 = 208.567 cm^2
