What are the accuracy, precision, drift, sensitivity or bit resolution, voltage and output range, and power requirements of a qPCR instrument?
Solution
Accuracy is the range of uncertainity in measurement of the device in comparison to a predefined standard measure.
Precision means repeatability of a measurement.
Sensitivity or Bit resolution means smallest change in number of bits that makes the resultant image better/clear.
Voltage that the amount of current, the device takes in and output range means what range of volts the resulting signal falls in between. Say between 1 to 3 Volts.
