Cutting speed / Cylinder perimeter = Spindle speed

(240 * 12) / (3 * pi ) = 306 RPM

Feet is changed to inches by multiplying with 12.

Cut length / Feed rate = Cut time

Feed rate = Cut length / Cut time = 9.3 / 2.12 = 4.387 IPM

Tool feed * Spindle speed = Feed rate

Tool feed = Feed rate / Spindle speed = 4.387 / 306 = 0.01 IPR

N.B : IPM -Inches per minute
