7y 3x 110 x 2 y 3 1 The intersection of these two lin

7y + 3x - 11=0 & x / 2 + y / 3 = 1 The intersection of these two linear equations are (1,-2)

Solution

We are given the lines 7y+3x - 11 = 0 or, 3x + 7y == 11... (1)

and x/2 + y/3 = 1 or. 3x + 2y = 6... (2)

The point of intersection of the lines 3x + 7y = 11 and 3x + 2y = 6 will be the solution of the two equations. On subtracting the 2nd equation from the 1st equation, we get 5y = 5 or, y = 1. On substituting this value of y in any of the two equations, we get 3x = 4 or, x = 4/3 = 1.33. Thus the point of intersection of the two given lines is (1.33, 1)

 7y + 3x - 11=0 & x / 2 + y / 3 = 1 The intersection of these two linear equations are (1,-2)SolutionWe are given the lines 7y+3x - 11 = 0 or, 3x + 7y == 11
