Solve the right triangle Round to the nearest tenth as neede

Solve the right triangle. (Round to the nearest tenth as needed.) (Round to the nearest tenth as needed.)

Solution

Angle A = 30 degree

Angle C = 90 degree

Sum of all the angles of triamgle is 180 degrees.

So, Angle B = 180 - 90 - 30 = 60 degrees (Answer)

By using Law of Sines, we have :

8/sin90 = a/sin30

8/1 = a / 0.5

8 = a/0.5

a = 4 (Answer)

Again, using Law of Sines, we have,

8/sin90 = b/sin60

8/1 = b/sin60

8 = b/sin 60

b = 8 sin 60 = 6.9 (Answer)
