1)For the study to be carried, All the students enrolled in Green river college will ocnstitute the Population.

2)We need to identify parameters called Population parameters, that describe a population, in this case it will be Number of time the student Sees his Adviser.

3)Students are to be requestied to provide data regarding the established parameters.

4)It might not be possible to collect data from all the students, in such a case, we have to select a portion or Sample the population, which is more practical. By selecting individual students at random, we guarantee that each student has equal oppertunity of being selected, there by, assuring that the inferred results can be applied to the whole population.
