You have simple race car. It has a single motor in it, and 50 tooth gear on it. THIS GEAR ALSO SERVES AS THE WHEEL You\'re unhappy with how fast the car goes, so you mesh a 10 tooth gear to the 50 tooth gear, and you make that 10 tooth gear your new wheel. Is this a good design? We know that speed of the gear wheel is inversly proportional to the no.of tooth on that wheel.

This means as the no.of tooth increases on a wheel it should rotate by meshing every tooth on the meshed wheel i.e. it will become slow.

N1/N2 = T2/T1

Here you are saying that 10tooth gear will be used as as wheel. So it will become faster and you can thrill the speed.

Specifically said it\'ll become 5 times fater than previous session. So for that need of increase of speed, your design will be good.
