Plant and animal cells are Eukaryotic because- Their DNA is bound in a nucleus as opposed to that of bacteria, where the DNA freely floats in the cytoplasm, in a long lood and there are one or more rings of DNA called as Plasmids.

Eukaryotic cells also have membrane bound organelles such as Mitochiondria and nucleus where as the Prokaryotic cells do not have membrane bound organelles.
