Autocratic Leadership

in this kind the leader makes all the dicisions and the rest follow his/her vision.

NOt to many people are in favour in this kind of leadership but it works at times. When employees are low on skills or they are untrained and insecure, the firm decisions that come down from an autocratic leader can be welcomed. When there is limited time to get results or if their is a power struggle arising from lower levels an autocratic style might be able to maintain order.

2. Democratic Leadership

this kind is the opposite of the previous one , here team work is promoted and decisions are made collectively.

Management empowers lower-level staff to establish goals and even to evaluate their own performance. There is a constant flow of information up the chain of command.Democratic leadership is best suited in situations when

there are complex problems to be addressed and they require several different perspectives to come to some agreement.
