Solution

Class I MHC molecule is recognized by the Tc cell.

When a cell is infected with a virus, the antigens that are inside the cell are brought to the surface by the Class I MHC molecule. In case if the antigen is specific to T Cell Receptor (TCR), the CD8+ Tc cell (in fibroblasts) undergo mitosis and undergoes clonal expansion. The T cells then differentiate into Killer cells which involve the formation of lysosomal bodies containing various cytotoxins. The Killer cells kill infected cells by releasing cytotoxins. Tc cells specifically kill virus-infected cells and clear the viruses from the circulation. Once the job of the Tc cells is done, few of them are transformed into the memory cells and the rest undergo apoptosis.
