I presently have 4 35 x 125 x 165 tires BF Goodrich All Terr

I presently have 4 35 x 12.5 x 16.5 tires BF Goodrich All Terrains with American Racing rims 5 x 9.75 type -21 mm offset 8 lug Ford. One tire blew out and 16.5 tires are no longer available. I think I can replace 2 tires with LT315/75R 16\'s.

1. Is this a good replacement for 2 tires and what is the difference between them?

2. What size rims do I get to closely match my current rims and will work with these new tires?

Solution

(1) yes you can replace your tires and there wont be much difference in its performance.

(2) once can get a rim size of 16.65 or 16.75 sizes of rims. These will closely match the your current rims and will work with old ones.
