Solution

Here Area = pi*D2/4

g = 32.2 ft/s²

Area = (3.14*0.752)/4

= 0.441 in2

Velocity (V)= sqrt(2gh)

= sqrt 2*32.2*2.8)

= 13.42 ft/s

Flow rate Q = A*V

Q = 0.441*13.42

Q = 5.92 ft3/s
