Answer: On average 8 hours of sleep, I do get every day night as per circadian & diurnal rhythms because it is essential to cover basal needs such as basal metabolic rate to perform various respiratory activities for optimal health such as good heart rate, blood pressure & psychological conditions. Some of these hours during night sleep do provide basal metabolic rate to the body homeostasis for optimal health mainly 7 to 8 hours whereas 8 to 9 hours needed essentially for children & older adults to attain optimal health.
