amplifier question please help
Amplifiers, transfer function, frequency response and Bode plots P,\' An amplifier operating from a dual ±10 V supply provides an 8-volt peak-to-peak sine-wave signal to a 400 Ohms load and draws negligible input current from the signal source. The DC current drawn from each positive and negative supply is 8 mA. What is the power dissipated in the amplifier, and what is the amplifier efficiency? Do not forget to include units. (3+3) points
Ans) Output Power= Po=Vrms2/RL
Gine Vo(peak-peak)= 8 V
Vo(Rms)=8/(2*sqrt(2))=8/(2*1.414)=2.83 V
Po=Vo2/RL=2.832/400=0.02 W (Watts)
----------------------
Input Power Pi=2*Vs*Is=2*10*8m=0.16 W
Efficiency=Po/Pi=0.02/0.16=0.125 means 12.5%
