Professional values and professional ethics are very important to an OD practitioner. This is because understanding and developing people process involves humanistic values. Employees have to be viewed as human beings first and then as a resource of the organization. This perspective or approach can be had only by having a strong professional value. The OD practitioner is also ethical and value driven and acts with integrity. Without values and ethics the OD practitioner cannot provide opportunities for each organization member, as well as for the organization itself, to develop to his full potential.
