During the collision of a car with a large truck, the car exerts a lesser force on the truck than the truck exerts on the car. If two objects have the same acceleration, they are under the influence of equal forces. If two objects are under the influence of equal forces, they have the same acceleration. The net force which acts on an object which maintains a constant velocity is zero. During the collision of a car with a large truck, the truck exerts an equal size force on the car as the car exerts on the truck.

Solution

I did not find any question in this para. However i think that there is some confusion.

Car (m1) and large truck (m2) having same acceleration collide, force exert by car on truck will be smaller than the force exert by the truck on car (m2>m1).

However if both car and large truck are under the influence of same force then obviously force exerted on each will be same.

During the collision of a car with a large truck, the car exerts a lesser force on the truck than the truck exerts on the car. If two objects have the same acce
