How should you decide what form to make your alternative hypothesis, and when should you make this decision?

In the testing of Hypothesis, generally two type of error consider. Hypothesis is decided on the basis of these two error. Among the two error we chose the more reliable and serious error decided on the basis of our study. more serious error consider in the form of Alternative hypothesis. simultaniously both type of error (Type-l and Type-ll) not minimized at the same time.

when calculated statistics value is less than tabulated value then we accept the null hypothesis otherwise we reject. another method is also there to make the decision on the basis of p- value. if p- value is grater than the level of significance value then we accept the null hypotyesis otherwise reject.
