Average cycle time = 30 secs + 97 secs + 120 secs / 10

Average cycle time = 24.7 seconds

b) time to complete the batch = n (setup time + Q OCt + Non operation time includes handling & tool changes)

time to complete the batch = 1 ( 1.5 hr + 80 X 0.00686 hr + 0.00833 hr + 0.033hr)

time to complete the batch = 2.09 hr

c) average productioin rate = no of parts produced per batch / average cycle time

average productioin rate =60 / (Bt / Q)

average productioin rate =60 / ( 2.09 / 80)

average productioin rate = 2,297 units
