Solution

The experiment does show arthropod springtail is required for pollination to further distances in a controlled environment. However it does not provide any insight regarding whether springtails are the natural pollinators as in the lab environment, absent alternative food source, springtails will be forced to use mosses as sole source of feed. Hence it would be helpful to know whether springtails are actually found on mosses in the natural environment and whether they feed on them.
