Power is worktime or force x velocity When the mass is accel

Power is work/time or force x velocity. When the mass is accelerating do you use the instantaneous velocity and multiply it by the force, or do you use kinematics to calculate the distance it traveled and divide that by the time it took then multiply the force.

Solution

We know

Power = Work / Time = Force * Velocity

But here the velocity is equal to average velocity so we can\'t use instantaneous velocity. But we can use kinematics.

Power = Force * (distance/time)

Here Average velocity = Distance / time

Power is work/time or force x velocity. When the mass is accelerating do you use the instantaneous velocity and multiply it by the force, or do you use kinemati
