The word RAM stands for random acess memory where reading and writing is possible with similar quantity of time.the operating system and applicatiuo programms are placed in RAM especially in chip=on-card main memory to acess rapidly through the processor. it is configured in seperate microchips(or) modules.RAM approaches in DIMMS and Microchip modules.

Containing many no.of RAM\'s in the computer The duration of acessing is higher when compared to reading data from a RAM it is conveyed in nano seconds ,hard disk with 10 terabytes and storage memory acess time is in terms of milli seconds.
