Determine the phase shift between the two sinusoidal voltages of Fig. 7.13.

Solution

In one square wave 90 degree phase shift.

One square wave has five divisions , so each division cover 90/5=18 degrees.

From the figure, there is a difference of four divisions between the zero degree of individual wave. So the total phase shift=4*18=72 degrees.
