  Solution
If you are using two noded two elements, the best way is to place the intermediate node at the point of application of the concentrated/point load. Thus the first elements will be of length 5 m whereas the second element will be of 1 m. In that case the load will be completely applied at the intermediate node.
If you equally divide the two elements i.e., both elements are of length 3 m, then you can proportionately divide the load at two nodes that is, the node at x = 3 will be applied a load of 24*1/3 = 8 N and the node at x = 6 will be applied a load of 24*2/3 = 16 N
