Please help.
Nucleic acids from an RNA virus, a DNA virus, and a wombat (an Australian mammal) were analyzed by a very disorganized laboratory technician. The technician lost the identification tags to the samples and is confused about the source of each. Provide help to the technician by identifying the source of the nucleic acid for each sample, giving a reason for each choice.Solution
looking at the options we can easily say that sample a is taken from an RNA virsus because it is the only sample that contains Uracil.
the option B could be the DNA virus because, it has a high GC content that is normally found in viruses so it could flourish in extreme environments,
lastly option C could be the DNA of wombat becuase it does not have a high GC content and also has uneven distribution of A/T and G/C bases.
