Endocrine glands are often called \"ductless glands\" because their products are secreted directly into the bloodstream. How is this an example of structure following function?

  Solution
The endocrine glands are ductless as they release their hormones with the help of the humoral, neural, or hormonal stimuli. Moreover there is a negative feedback which occurs that helps to regulate hormone levels in the blood. Everything takens place step by step just as the structure is of the glands.First The hypothalamus is used whichh releases CRH.This is followed by the release of ACTH which is done by the pituitary.Furthermore we have the adrenal glands which usually release cortisol. The cortisol then turns off the hypothalumus secretion of CRH.As all the steps follow in a sequence therefore, the structure follows the function.
