Solution

sol:- transformer rating 11000/4600 volts secondary current = 30 A

1) transformer turns ratio = N1 / N2   = V1 / V2

= N1 / N2 = 11000/4600

= 110 / 46

2) The Kva rating of transformer is = V2*I2

= 4600*30 = 138 Kva

3) The primary current is I1 = V2I2 / V1

= 4600*30/11000

I1 = 12.54 ampere
