An object is traveling around a circle with a radius of 20 m
An object is traveling around a circle with a radius of 20 meters. If in 10 seconds a central angle of 1/5 radian is swept out, what is the linear speed of the object?

  Solution
Angle swept in 10 sec= 1/5 radian
Angular velocity = (1/5)/10 = 1/50 rad/sec
Linear velocity = angular velocity*radius= (1/50)*20 = 2/5 = 0.4 mt/sec
