Solution

apply nodal analysis at node \"a\"

1=va/2+(va-vb)/10

va[1/2+1/10]+vb[-1/10]=1

apply nodal analysis at node \'b\'

3=vb/3+(vb-va)/10

va(-1/10)+vb[1/3+1/10]=3

from the above equations

va=2.933 volts

vb=7.6 volts

ia=va/2=2.933/2=1.4665 amps

ib=vb/3=7.6/3=2.533 amps
