How do the neuronal pathways (afferent and efferent) play a role in the control of walking? Must use a minimum of 6 sentences
Solution
Reflex movements for the purpose of general walking have been mostly taken place with the help of spinal cord. Neurons of spinal cord involve in the reflex actions of movements without involvement of the brain. Afferent nerves gets involved in the sending a stimulus to the brain. Efferent nerves involve in carrying signals to the organs of actions away from the central nervous system. Afferent neurons enter the spinal cord, at its dorsal root, while carrying stimulus towards brain. Efferent neurons exit the spinal cord, through its ventral root, when carrying signals away from brain.
