The two basic qualities a person must have to be a successful professional are diligence and optimistic. As everyone are educated (atleast upto High school), they are generally differed with other in the aspect of hard working which is being diligent. Everyone may not be intelligent and all intelligent people are not always successful. But all hard-working people are always successful. One must have a positive mental strength which is indirectly linked with good physical and psychological abilities of a person. He/She must face tough surroundings/decisions/situations in their professional life. They can overcome all of them by being optimistic.
Now-a-days apart from these two qualities smart work and social quotient of a person are also important. Smart work means the ability to do a work in a simpler way rather than a complex or complicated way. Social quotient refers to the behaviour of a person in a group of people which may also include their emotional attachments. This means that a person must be able to balance both his professional life and personal life. A successful professional can always maintain or improve his professional status only if he has good personal life.
