This purpose of this article is to hightlight the return of the Zombie’s with a vengeance in the new millennium. The collapse of the economy and the American dream fast disappearing. Zombie metaphor signifies the disappearing of the American dream; turning of urban areas into wastelands and loss of jobs. In short, it means collapse of the American economy. Zombies are the mindless walking dead. Loss of jobs, livelihood, housing would make the American people are mindless and they will turn into the walking dead. There is no hope for a bright future. The author recommends creating economic opportunities for all, building infrastructure, providing education for the young, providing energy systems to avoid turning land into wastelands. It is achievable provided it is planned and implemented in a meaningful way. This article provides an interesting highlights on the despair of the people. The gap between the rich and the poor seems to widen each day. Lack of education, job skills, jobs are the major woes of people. This article sums up the economic problem well.
