We are building a can opener for machine design. Describe the manufacturing processes For,

-Cutting blade (SAE 1050)

-Moving wheel (SAE 1050)

-Gears (Brass, Waterjet cut from 0.1\" stock)

-Handle Grip (ABS Erganomic Grip)

Manufacturing Processes are as described below:

1) Cutting Blade (SAE 1050): is made by swaging, bending and piercing operations.

2) Moving wheel (SAE 1050): is obtained by cutting and stamping operations.

3) Gears (Brass, Waterjet cut from 0.1\" stock) : is obtained by abrasive waterjet machining.

4) Handle Grip (ABS Erganomic Grip) is made with the help of blanking, stamping, piercing and bending operations

These parts are Nickel plated in order to increase corrosion resistance and as for asthetic point of view..
